Recoveryfix for OST is a standalone and independent tool to read orphaned OST file without establishing connection with the Exchange server. This tool has been created specially to view emails and other properties from OST file that become unusable and inaccessible because of various external and internal factors. The software is integrated with intuitive and self-descriptive graphical user interface, to make it easier to use. Recoveryfix for OST guides users by providing step-by-step instructions for easy operation. The software, when launched prompts users to browse the OST file to be opened with a “Select Source OST File” dialog box. When the OST file is selected, the software scans the file selected. After the scanning process is completed, entire email items are displayed in a hierarchal structure in the left panel. The tool then facilitates the users to navigate through the respective folders of the OST file listed in the panel that enables user to view the desired emails and its properties. This open OST tool has been programmed with advance algorithm that enables users to retrieve items from password protected OST file, even when the password is not known.
